Symbian OS Explained is published by Symbian Press. You can buy it online, for example, from Amazon. It is also available at a reduced rate in India, and translated into Japanese and Chinese.

The source code for Chapter 12 (Client-Server) and Chapter 14 (ECOM) is available for download from here

There is an errata page here, but many of the errors were corrected in the 2006 reprint of the book. If you find an error which isn't already listed, please let us know. Symbian OS Explained: Upgrades
Symbian OS Explained was published in October 2004 and is based on Symbian OS v7.0 and v7.0s. Some of the text is now out-of-date for Symbian OS 8.x and 9.x, and some important topics, such as Platform Security, are not covered. Jo is planning to make updates, but doesn't anticipate a new edition of the book being available until mid-2007, at the earliest.
